and my ears attentive
to the prayers offered in this place.

    In My Minds Eye

As Your love pours down in a shower of grace
Some people tell me that You’re just a dream
My faith is the evidence of things unseen]

In my mind’s eye, in my mind’s eye
In my mind’s eye, in my mind

You know what I’m going through
    I know this is true
‘Cause You stood in my shoes
    Desire’s inside of me
    But it’s hard to believe
    In what you cannot see

    Can you catch the wind?
    See a breeze?
    Its presence is revealed by
    The leaves on a tree
An image of my faith in the unseen

    In my mind’s eye
    I see Your face
You smile as you show me grace
    In my mind’s eye
    You take my hand
    We walk through foreign lands
    The foreign lands of life

In my mind’s eye, in my mind’s eye
In my mind’s eye, in my mind

In my mind I’m where I belong
As I rest in your arms
And like a child I hold on to you
In my moment of truth, yes I do

    We can ride the storm
    Endure the pain
You comfort me in my hurricane
And I’ll never be alone again

    (repeat chorus 2x)

In my mind’s eye, in my mind’s eye
In my mind’s eye, in my mind

In my mind I can see Your face
Love pours down in a shower of grace
Life is a gift that You choose to give
    I believe we eternally live
Faith is the evidence of things unseen
People tell me that You’re just a dream
But they don’t know You the way that I do
You’re the one I live to pursue

    Can you catch the wind?
[Can you see God, have you ever seen Him?
    I’ve never seen the wind
I seen the effects of the wind
But I’ve never seen the wind]
    Can you see the breeze?
    [There’s a mystery to it]

    (repeat chorus)

In my mind’s eye, in my mind’s eye
    [I see You there again]
In my mind’s eye, in my mind’s eye
[I know You’ll meet me there my Friend]
In my mind’s eye, in my mind’s eye
[I know You’re there, I can touch You there]
In my mind’s eye, in my mind’s eye
[I want You there, I need You there, I see You there, I know You care]
[And I believe, and I believe, and I believe

  2. Sarkozy ‘to Move to London’ to Avoid France’s High Taxes…

When are people ever going to learn that when you penalize people for their success, they find somewhere that they can enjoy and dispense of their wealth as they see fit. 60,000 people left California last month for Texas. No state income tax. Good economy. Most people that have accumulated wealth would prefer that they leave their wealth to their families or even a charity of their choice and not see the vast majority of it wasted on corruption, political payoffs, idiotic schemes like solyndra,…the list is endless.

We do need to help the people that need help, but million dollar a year union thugs and crooked politicians should not be first in line. Until GovCo behaves responsibly I’m going to take every step I can to protect what I’ve been working my ass for over the last 40 years.

If that makes me selfish, then I’m fucking selfish. Selah!

I wonder how much of qaddafi’s loot he’s hauling with him to London? Typical pol.

    • What a cynic that Dr. Wheat is………………….

The PIC released its latest list of contributors on Friday evening — as it had on each of the previous two Fridays — bringing the tally to 3,167 individuals, 26 corporations and unions, and one Indian tribe. Among them are a few more big-name companies, such as Bank of America, FedEx and Coca-Cola, and some Democratic senators and House members, like Sens. Al Franken (Minn.) and Patrick Leahy (Vt.), and Reps. Janice Hahn (Calif.) and Lois Capps (Calif.).

And labor unions, absent from earlier lists, showed up in force. The American Federation of Government Employees, the American Postal Workers Union, the International Association of Firefighters, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, the Laborer’s Union, the Sheet Metal Workers International Association, the United Association (an affiliate of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Union) and the United Food & Commercial Workers all pitched in for the festivities. Unions have been adamant supporters of Obama, but in the campaign their strongest show of financial support came toward the end, a pattern that has repeated itself with their inaugural gifts.

      Corporate Courtesy

The big-name corporations on the latest list joined AT&T and Microsoft, and a handful of others which gave earlier. Some corporate donors are closely linked to major Democratic donors. PSP Capital Partners, newly added to the roster of inaugural funders, is a private investment firm based in Chicago and run by Penny Pritzker, an Obama bundler and longtime major backer of the Democratic Party. Another, Ogden Cap Properties, is a New York City real estate firm run by Connie Milstein, who has previously made’s list of top donors. Ariel Investments, the largest minority-run mutual funds group, is headed by John W. Rogers, a top Obama bundler from Chicago.

and to boot I have to pay them extraordinary amount of non existent moolah for the privilege of fucking me over entirely

OH to be penalized for my success

    • On the eve of K.’s thirty-first birthday, two men arrive at his apartment. He has been waiting for them, and he offers little resistance – indeed the two men take direction from K. as they walk through town. K. leads them to a quarry where the two men place K’s head on a discarded block. One of the men produces a double-edged butcher knife, and as the two men pass it back and forth between them, the narrator tells us that “K. knew then precisely, that it would have been his duty to take the knife…and thrust it into himself.” He does not take the knife. One of the men holds his shoulder and pulls him up and the other man stabs him in the heart and twists the knife twice. K.’s last words are: “Like a dog!”

  4. Panetta’s big stick– watch out Terrorist’s- we’re coming for you!

Truthfully, it has been pretty much of a gagger to try to post the last couple of days. But finally I found a real hoot. Now that Panetta is walking out the door, after we left Americans to die in Benghazi, and have done nothing to go after those who did it, after we turned the Middle East into a tinder box, this savant has his last remarks recorded and that should go down in History as demonstrating one of the most insightful foreign polices in our Nation’s History. He claims we helped out big time in Algeria after everyone knows Algeria told us to go to hell as well as the rest of the Europeans. Add our savant Clinton who just issued this warning that perhaps Americans may want to take off Algeria as their destination vacation port. Wow, four more years that should get even better with our new Secretary of State and Defense. At least the word “Terrorist” was used. We indeed have come a long way. So this is my inaugural post. God help us.

  5. New York Fires Auditor Who Found Abuse of Federal Hurricane Sandy Funds

“I didn’t believe I did anything to be escorted off the premises,” Sadowski told the Times Union. “I wasn’t trying to get back at anybody or get anybody in trouble.” But Sadowski said he believed he was fired for finding the waste. “I was relieved of my duties because I identified these problems,” he said.

In his report, Sadowski found that the city was buying equipment it didn’t need, but had wanted for other purposes, had bought equipment that cannot be tracked, and even lost some equipments bought.

Sadowski uncovered examples of spending that appeared to take federal money for things that had no direct connection for Hurricane Sandy. He also found that credit card purchases weren’t being properly tracked or accounted for.

  6. I am required to go make a cover for Stephen’s fourth novel for Kindle, if I can still draw what I want to. The first three covers were done by Noah Trahan, but he takes forever so I get the fourth. If anyone wants to read bird stories they can be found on Amazon.

  7. Schumer to gun shop owners: Stop selling guns while Congress debates

Sen. Charles Schumer says retailers that sell assault weapons should stop offering them for purchase while Congress discusses gun regulation legislation.

Schumer on Sunday released a letter he sent to major retailers asking for a voluntary moratorium.

The New York Democrat says consumer demand for guns has gone up in the weeks since the December mass shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Schumer says Congress is debating the issue, and if measures get passed that limit these type of weapons, it won’t help if more of them have recently been sold.

President Barack Obama has made gun control a top priority. Vice President Joe Biden is expected to give him a comprehensive package of recommendations for curbing gun violence this week.

  8. they’re gone for the winter now, but we get a lot of hummingbirds around here during warm weather. they actually hitch-hike on ducks down to Mexico during the winter. pretty smart, eh? they always return from whence they came, just like salmon.

ducks are their airline for the long trips. I suppose that’s because the ducks migrate in the same manner. The design of GOD’s world and all that is in it continues to amaze me. Evolution? GTFOOH>

“I saw two dudes basically get into an altercation and the dude that shot, he basically got angry and started shooting the other guy,” said student Brittany Mobley, as reported by CBS affiliate KHOU Houston. “A lot of people heard a lot of shots.”

  9. I must get the boy moving and motivated a little. I need to start supper and need him to empty the dishwasher. I need dishes put away and for him to gather his sweat shirts, sweat pants, and other things he also needs for tomorrow. The cold front has arrived and I simply don’t have the time or energy to do everything.

    • got him moving. he just got a new skeet gun this weekend. he’s been properly bribed for a I make magnificent supper of lasagna, baked bread, and salad. that should be enough bribery alone really. some day they will all miss the hell out of me. Like Q, I’ve been one of the best Mom/Dads that ever existed. As for the wife she’s the most spoiled of all.

It’s all that Army training. Lead from the front, take care of your troops.

The idea of being late makes my stomach hurt.

    • I’ve met Charlie. I didn’t knock him down any stairs either. He’s a wonderful guy and as they come. Regular folks. I loves some Charlie Daniels. I’ve been to his farm. About 25 minutes from Gallatin.

  10. GAFFNEY: Hillary Clinton’s legacy

Congress has duty to ask tough, parting questions

Who was responsible for devising and executing the policy of engaging, legitimating, empowering, funding and arming Islamists like the Muslim Brotherhood? It appears to date back to at least March 2009, when the United States first co-sponsored a Shariah-driven United Nations Human Rights Council resolution criticizing expressions that offend Islam. What role did Mrs. Clinton play in that initiative and in the broader policy of which it was a leading indicator?

  11. The lasagna will be ready in about 30 minutes. Just in time to feed the fambly.
